CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Digital Skills Tutor to join our team. As a Digital Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for learners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning programs for adult learners.
- Assess and record learner outcomes, including the completion of exam entry forms.
- Monitor learner attendance and punctuality, and take appropriate action as required.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum, including the identification of materials and equipment resources needed to assist the provision of teaching and learning.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to learners, including the production of individual learning plans.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team leader/manager and other service staff to ensure the effective organization of examinations and assessments.
- Comply with safeguarding requirements, including all Health and Safety and GDPR regulations.
- Participate in the Service's self-assessment and development planning process.
- Minimum of one year of experience in teaching, preferably in a related industry or sector.
- Experience of teaching all abilities, particularly at entry level.
- Experience of teaching on accredited digital skills courses is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) and knowledge and training in subject specialism, e.g. PGCE DET or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of L2 English and maths qualifications.
This role is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The successful candidate must be available for daytime classes and one or two evenings a week, with some flexibility required to adapt to the market.
