We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SHE Advisor to join our team at Octavius Regional Civil Engineering.

As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) strategic plan.

You will ensure our safety management systems comply with both internal and external requirements, while actively promoting a culture of safety and collaboration across all projects.

Your focus will be on protecting everyone impacted by our work and ensuring a safe, healthy working environment, where every team member goes home safely every day.

You will also ensure compliance with correct reporting procedures, provide timely interventions, and support continuous improvement in people skills and safety processes.

You will offer expert advice on SHE legal requirements and industry best practices.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses the following qualities:

You will bring a solid understanding of SHE legislation, practical experience in applying SHE processes and practices at remote sites, and experience working with SHE counterparts from clients and certification bodies.

You will also have experience in civil engineering works methodology, ideally within the rail sector, and familiarity with broader construction disciplines such as groundworks, earthworks, drainage, and structures.

Qualifications include a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, and a NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or similar.
