We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SHE Advisor to support the development and implementation of our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) strategic plan at Octavius Infrastructure.

As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our safety management systems comply with both internal and external requirements while promoting a culture of safety and collaboration across all projects.

Your focus will be on protecting everyone impacted by our work and ensuring a safe, healthy working environment, where every team member goes home safely every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SHE strategic plans and policies
  • Ensure compliance with SHE legislation and industry best practices
  • Provide expert advice on SHE legal requirements and industry best practices
  • Support continuous improvement in people skills and safety processes
  • Offer timely interventions and support

You'll bring:

  • Solid understanding of SHE legislation
  • Practical experience in applying SHE processes and practices at remote sites
  • Worked with SHE counterparts from clients and certification bodies
  • Experience in civil engineering works methodology, ideally within the rail sector
  • Familiarity with broader construction disciplines such as groundworks, earthworks, drainage, and structures

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or similar
  • Experience within a Tier 1 contracting environment would be an advantage
