Research and Development Scientist

Job Summary:

BioTalent is seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Scientist to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will support the development of next-generation purification processes using computational methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement coarse-grained molecular dynamics models for protein property prediction
  • Design and optimize algorithms for predicting protein-resin interaction behavior
  • Generate and manage in silico biophysical data to support prediction model development
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform model development and optimization
  • Communicate results to stakeholders through presentations, data summaries, and reports
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Experience with in silico modeling and a background in structural biology, molecular biology, or biophysics
  • Proficiency in coarse-grain molecular dynamic simulation
  • Working towards MSc or MPhil/PhD in a relevant field
