Finance Operations Manager - The Role:
Ensure all financial reporting for the UK division is completed in accordance with corporate reporting schedules and adheres to established accounting standards.
Assist Managing Directors in business analysis and critical decision-making processes, including annual operational planning, forecasting, variance analysis, cost management, profitability improvement, and capital expenditure preparation.
Collaborate with local accounting teams to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and efficient accounting practices.

Generate and evaluate local financial reports (covering revenue recognition, accrual calculations, reserve assessments, and necessary adjustments) and key performance indicators, while monitoring company performance against Annual Operating Plans and Forecasts. Provide explanations for significant variances.

Review working capital levels to ensure optimal management for maximizing cash flow.
Proactively engage with and challenge the business to drive progress towards financial objectives.
Take a lead role in preparing Annual Operating Plans and Forecasts.
Work closely with Managing Directors and the Cluster Controller to ensure compliance with all local legal, tax, and statutory reporting obligations, including coordination with local and group auditors and professional advisors.

Establish and maintain robust financial controls and review systems to ensure the accuracy of reported information and minimize the risk of fraudulent or inappropriate activities. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.

Implement Group Finance initiatives within the organization, monitor progress, and report on status and deviations from plans.
Develop and mentor a strong and stable finance team.
Manage credit collections, including determining credit limits, tracking overdue accounts receivable, settling with external clients, and collaborating with legal firms involved in collections.
Plan cash flow for future periods and report cash flow projections to the parent company.
Work closely with Sales and Project Management teams to track project profitability.
Support the Annual Physical Stock Check in collaboration with the Procurement and Logistics Manager.
Engage with Managing Directors of two business units and the Board of Directors on financial matters, ensuring immediate notification of identified issues.
Ensure the ERP system delivers the necessary information for organizational reporting.
Support the company in maintaining quality standards.
Negotiate contracts and manage business utility agreements.
Finance Operations Manager - Required Experience

ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified
Experience with UK GAAP
Proven track record in implementing strong controls and processes
Effective people management skills
Familiarity with ERP systems
Finance Operations Manager - The Package

£65,000 - £70,000
Car allowance
Bonus structure

Hybrid working model - 3 days in the office
