About The Position

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the growth of the organization by taking full ownership of the monthly financial reporting process, which includes the preparation of Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses. You will ensure that all financial controls and processes are adhered to, maintaining accurate finance ledgers while regularly engaging with senior management to present and assess business performance, ultimately driving profitability improvements. Your collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization will be essential in propelling the business forward.

Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary finance contact for the Managing Director and operational unit leaders, providing insights and constructive feedback on financial performance.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, along with the executive reporting package.
  • Oversee the accounting ledger, ensuring compliance with established processes and controls, and manage the annual audit process.
  • Lead the planning, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
  • Proven experience in managing the monthly financial reporting process and ensuring readiness for external audits.
  • Expertise in delivering budgets and forecasts while securing stakeholder agreement.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying clear and impactful messages to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities, providing both support and constructive challenge.
  • Experience in a similar retail, wholesale, or e-commerce environment.
  • Confident and determined, with strong influencing capabilities.
  • Proactive and positive mindset, adept at overcoming obstacles to achieve objectives.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic perspective.
