An exceptional opportunity has emerged within the Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, a dynamic collaboration focused on delivering treatment and recovery services for substance use across Lincolnshire. This partnership combines the expertise of Turning Point, Framework, and Double Impact, creating a robust framework for supporting individuals facing substance use challenges.

Core Responsibilities

As a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber, your role will encompass:
  • Administering opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions.
  • Facilitating benzodiazepine reductions and alcohol detoxifications.
  • Implementing relapse prevention strategies and managing detoxification medications.
  • Conducting health care assessments and providing Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations.
  • Collaborating closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.

You will also participate in local prescriber meetings and receive ongoing clinical supervision to support your professional development. Your contributions will be vital in shaping service delivery and ensuring high-quality care for clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be:
  • A registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified pharmacist, holding independent prescriber status.
  • Skilled in managing prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications.
  • An excellent communicator with strong organizational abilities.
  • Creative in developing tailored support packages for clients.
  • Empathetic and genuinely interested in helping individuals with diverse needs.
