Lead Clinical Psychologist – Substance Use Recovery

An exciting opportunity exists within the Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, a dynamic collaboration providing treatment and recovery services for substance use across Lincolnshire. This partnership integrates the strengths of Turning Point, Framework, and Double Impact, combining national expertise with a focus on lived experience and recovery support.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the psychological services across Lincolnshire, ensuring that evidence-based practices are incorporated throughout the organization. Your role will involve:
- Providing clinical guidance and training to staff and partner organizations.
- Implementing innovative strategies for engaging with individuals facing substance use challenges.
- Maintaining a small caseload of clients with complex needs, delivering specialized psychological assessments and therapies.
- Leading contributions to clinical governance meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to enhance referral processes and service delivery for clients with concurrent substance use and mental health issues.
- Influencing the strategic direction of the service, fostering relationships with other service providers, and enhancing support structures.
- Engaging with a national team of psychologists to refine psychological and psychosocial methodologies.
- Providing supervision and support to Practitioner Psychologists and Psychotherapists.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess:
- Current registration with the Health and Social Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist.
- A doctorate in a relevant psychological discipline and a proven track record in delivering psychological services.
- Experience in leading and mentoring clinical teams, particularly in substance use contexts.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to the principles of recovery.
