Job Opportunity for Senior Ecologist

PT Renewables is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team in Gloucestershire. As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead complex projects, mentor your team, and collaborate closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement high-level technical reports, showcasing your expertise in environmental legislation and ecological principles.
  • Lead and mentor survey teams, both in-house and external, to ensure the quality of work and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct advanced surveys, applying your knowledge of UK and European environmental legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Contribute to the Ecology Team's vision and growth strategy, driving innovation and excellence in ecological services.
Requirements:
  • Proven project management skills and a strategic mindset, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.
  • Senior-level experience in technical report writing, with a strong understanding of environmental legislation and ecological principles.
  • Expertise in UK and European environmental legislation, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Experience in fee proposals and resource planning, with a strong understanding of business operations and financial management.
  • Botany, bats, and aquatic ecology expertise are highly desirable, as are survey licenses and BNG metric experience.
