We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team at Redline Group Ltd. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, maintaining and updating IT documentation, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our IT operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide First-Line Technical Support: Respond to hardware and software issues through our in-house ServiceDesk application, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- IT Documentation and Asset Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets, and update IT documentation as needed.
- Data Integrity and Backup: Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity to prevent losses and ensure business continuity.
- System and Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting system and network issues to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support and administration, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and protocols.
- IT Certifications: Any relevant IT certification, such as IT Administration, App Development, or Security, would be an advantage.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration: Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 administration and its features.
- ERP Systems: Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, BAAN SyteLine, or Cloudsuite, would be beneficial.
- Network Infrastructure: Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
