Job Title: Advanced Clinical Lead

This is a clinical leadership role that requires a dynamic professional with strong leadership skills, particularly in the areas of clinical practice, supervision, and evaluation of clinical services.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a governance framework and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in a Talking Therapies setting. They will be responsible for the clinical delivery of psychological therapy, from referral to treatment and discharge.

The post holder will ensure high-quality psychological therapies are accessible and implemented for people with a range of mental health problems, utilizing evidence-based approaches in line with National Institute for Clinical Excellence guidelines.

The role involves clinical leadership of a team of therapy staff within an NHS Talking Therapies Service, providing clinical input into contracts with external therapy providers, and enhancing the clinical team through training and development.

The post holder will also be responsible for developing evidence-based specialized programs of therapy and care, advising professionals on referrals, and providing teaching and training packages to different professions and professional groups.
