About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of assigned projects, jobs, and tasks while working collaboratively with other team members and station staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of assigned projects, jobs, and tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability across the fuel route, including modifications, maintenance routines, and defect resolution.
- Act as the point of contact for assigned projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
- Review and develop solutions for plant equipment reliability issues, including routine maintenance practices.
- Manage all aspects of small projects lifecycle through to completion, including supporting documentation and commissioning.
- Perform walk-downs with contractors to review upcoming tasks and obtain quotes as required.
- Review and approve contractor documentation prior to completion.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of a range of engineering topics or commensurate construction engineering experience, including all phases of a complex, multi-discipline project.
- Ability to achieve and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance.
