We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Project Leader to manage our Technology Project Portfolio within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing technology initiatives in a financial environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for steering critical technology projects, establishing and upholding project governance and reporting frameworks, and ensuring a well-rounded focus on both governance and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a project management framework tailored to the organization’s needs.
  • Supervise the Technology Project portfolio and provide consistent updates to senior management.
  • Lead significant projects and partner with Technology Risk teams to mitigate risks.
  • Support the enhancement of technology processes.
  • Promote a culture of comprehensive testing and smooth transitions to operational technology.
  • Contribute to achieving company goals related to efficiency and automation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in IT Project Management within Financial Services.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with various project delivery methodologies across multiple technologies.
  • Experience in a regulated financial services setting.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders both within and outside of the technology department.
  • Expertise in portfolio management and governance framework establishment.
  • Self-sufficient approach with minimal oversight required.
  • Experience working in a global context with remote teams.
  • Exemplary leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite.
