Sales and Marketing Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Lead to join our client, a leading Marketing Consultancy in Cheshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and managing the annual Sales and Marketing Strategy, and collaborating with Client Services to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth in the UK and internationally, leveraging CRM tools to track and manage leads.
  • Develop and manage an annual Sales and Marketing Strategy aligned with business goals, presenting it annually to stakeholders.
  • Manage sales opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients and meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Collaborate with Client Services to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and work together to implement strategies.
  • Oversee lead generation and digital marketing strategies, managing the Digital Marketing Manager and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Create sales collateral, present at events, and oversee content marketing and social media efforts.
  • Manage partner relationships within the industry, building strong relationships to drive business growth.
  • Report on quarterly sales targets and marketing activities, using insights to refine strategies and improve performance.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and growth-driven with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the independent education sector or similar.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective deal closer with excellent organisational and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales tools, able to manage leads and track progress.
  • Positive, strategic problem-solver with a proactive attitude.
