Sales and Marketing Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Lead to join our client, a Cheshire-based Marketing Consultancy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and managing a sales and marketing strategy, and collaborating with client services to upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth in the UK and internationally, leveraging CRM tools to track and manage leads.
  • Develop and manage an annual sales and marketing strategy aligned with business goals, presenting quarterly updates to the management team.
  • Manage sales opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients and meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Collaborate with client services to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee lead generation and digital marketing strategies, managing the digital marketing manager and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Create sales collateral, present at events, and oversee content marketing and social media efforts.
  • Manage partner relationships within the industry, fostering strong connections and driving business growth.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and growth-driven, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the independent education sector or similar.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Effective deal closer, with excellent organisational and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales tools, with the ability to manage leads and track progress.
  • Positive, strategic problem-solver with a proactive attitude, able to adapt to changing business needs.
