Join Active Care Group as a Live In Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Live In Support Worker in the Wales area. As a Live In Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injury or complex care physical disability, enabling them to live independently in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support clients with their daily routines, including meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure continuity of care and provide updates on client progress.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £805 per week, paid on a zero-hour contract.
  • Potential for regular consistent work with set rolling rotas, minimum of 2 weeks on.
