Job Summary: Gap Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join their team.

About the Role: As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting Materials and Equipment: Conduct regular inspections of materials, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Control Solutions: Develop and implement effective solutions to quality control issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Product Certification: Certify and release products to customers in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Non-Conformance Analysis: Analyze and report non-conformance data to engineering and senior management, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Quality Tools and SAP: Utilize knowledge of quality tools and experience with SAP to manage non-conformance and improve quality processes.
  • Self-Motivation and Determination: Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and determination to deliver results, even in challenging situations.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Exeter may be required for this position.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Defence/Aerospace or Safety Regulated Environment: Advantageous but not required.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is required for occasional travel to Exeter.

Compensation: £40,000 per annum, Monday to Friday.
