Supply Chain Development Lead

At Nairn's Oatcakes, we're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and excellence in our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and optimize existing systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic projects to drive tangible results.
  • Lead and coordinate supply chain development projects, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Oversee administrative areas of the supply chain, including supporting Production Planners with ingredient and packaging call-offs, and supplier communication.
  • Provide essential holiday cover for Production Planners, managing weekly production schedules, ingredient and packaging stock, and maintaining accurate records in the MRP system.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems within busy FMCG manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to capture, analyze, and present complex data accurately and logically.
  • Strong planning skills, with an understanding of technical, quality, and labor planning requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex analysis and recommendations clearly.
