About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trust Registrar to join our Orthopaedics team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with orthopaedic and medical conditions, working closely with the consultant staff, F1 trainees, SHOs, and ST registrars.
Main Responsibilities
The postholder will be expected to:
- Work as a member of the Orthopaedic team to ensure high-quality care of patients
- Attend trauma meetings and participate in national audit programmes
- Develop their own programme of clinical governance with guidance from their Supervisor
- Supervise juniors and participate in teaching and training
- Manage patients with peri-operative complications and guide junior doctors in the team

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- MBBS (or equivalent) and full registration with GMC
- Part 2 MRCP UK (or equivalent) at the expected start date of the post
- Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates, and junior medical staff
