Join Our Team as a Post CCT Orthopaedic Fellow

Cleveland Clinic London is a world-renowned healthcare institution, and we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Post CCT Orthopaedic Fellow to join our team. As a Post CCT Orthopaedic Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced orthopaedic consultants and gain valuable experience in hip and knee arthroplasty, soft tissue hip and knee surgery, lower limb osteotomy, and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in arthroplasty, soft tissue knee and hip surgery, osteotomy, and trauma procedures, ranging from simple to complex cases.
  • Attend outpatient clinics to encounter a wide variety of clinical presentations and enhance diagnostic and treatment algorithms.
  • Engage with the multidisciplinary team to foster collaboration and holistic patient care.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Teach and mentor junior members of staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Contribute to educational initiatives within the orthopaedic department.
  • Avail the opportunity to visit Cleveland Clinic in the United States for a dedicated observership experience.
  • Receive funding to attend relevant courses, conferences, and workshops that contribute to personal and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent
  • FRCS Orth or equivalent
  • CCT in Orthopaedics and Trauma or equivalent.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and license to practice in the UK.
  • Completion of registrar training and awarded CCT
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Track record of engagement in clinical research activities in orthopaedics.
  • Willingness and ability to contribute to teaching and training programs for junior staff
  • Understanding of audit and research principles
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on patient safety.
  • Understanding and adherence to clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical and organisational needs.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in responding to new challenges and developments in orthopaedic practice.
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
