Job Title: Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead

Transform Housing & Support is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with our team to provide advice and guidance to staff and direct interventions to improve outcomes for our clients who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside current Housing and Support Officers to provide advice and guidance to staff and direct interventions to improve outcomes for clients.
  • Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs and provide support to key workers through review and monitoring of delivery of support plans.
  • Deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner.
  • Partner with Transform and other agencies to provide a comprehensive support service to clients.
  • Work closely with the individual's key worker to support timely and effective strengths-based assessments and co-produced recovery support plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.
  • Awareness of issues faced by others involved with people experiencing drug and alcohol-related problems.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience.
  • Able to deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner.
  • Valid driving license and own car insured for business use.

Working Arrangements:

  • Full-time, fixed-term contract (12 months; possible extension) - 39 hours per week.
  • Flexibility for part-time will be considered.
  • Regular travel between properties required.
