Job Title: Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead

Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (12 months; possible extension)

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (with flexibility)

Location: Surrey, with regular travel between properties

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead to join our team at Transform Housing & Support. The successful candidate will work alongside our Housing and Support Officers to provide advice and guidance, and deliver direct interventions to improve outcomes for our clients who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, providing tailored support and interventions to address their alcohol-related issues.
  • Work closely with our Housing and Support Officers to provide advice and guidance, and to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Deliver a range of services, including assessments, treatment plans, and interventions, in a person-centered and non-judgmental manner.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with other agencies and organizations to ensure effective collaboration and support for our clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our harm reduction strategies and policies.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with clients with complex needs, including those with alcohol-related issues.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, and to develop and maintain partnerships with other agencies and organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including regular travel between properties and occasional evening or weekend work.
  • Full, valid driving license and own car insured for business use.
