Job Title: Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead

Transform Housing & Support is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

About the Role:

The Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead will work closely with our Housing and Support Officers to provide advice and guidance on alcohol-related issues. You will be responsible for delivering interventions to improve outcomes for our clients who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels. This will involve working across all our services in Surrey, providing support and guidance to staff, and developing and implementing strategies to reduce alcohol harm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on alcohol-related issues to staff and clients
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce alcohol harm across all Transform services
  • Work closely with Housing and Support Officers to deliver interventions and support clients
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to alcohol harm reduction
  • Participate in the existing rota to provide support for clients across Transform
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing a caseload of service users with complex needs
  • Awareness of issues faced by others involved with people experiencing drug and alcohol-related problems
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience
  • Able to deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner
  • A valid driving license and own car insured for business use
What We Offer:

Transform Housing & Support offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, plus benefits. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. We also offer flexibility for part-time working and a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and life insurance.
