The role of the Assistant Manager in Timber & Construction Products encompasses:

  • Supporting the management team in selling a diverse range of timber and construction supplies, including sheet materials, tools, bricks, adhesives, insulation, and more.
  • Engaging with various contractors, including main contractors and subcontractors, as well as occasional retail customers.
  • Handling incoming sales inquiries through phone and email communication.
  • Assisting in the daily operations of the branch.
  • Generating quotes for customers both in-person and via phone.
  • Coordinating product deliveries from the branch.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a management role within a branch environment.
  • Preferably a background in timber or building materials, though broader construction experience is also considered.
