About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including design briefs, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the technical director/manager to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of surveys and reports required for project development.
  • Prepare and manage consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents.
  • Coordinate the delivery of civil engineering designs, including legal plans and house type working drawing packs.
  • Undertake value engineering assessments and ensure buildability is considered.
  • Coordinate the submission of designs and secure technical approvals for agreements such as S104, S38, and S278.
  • Coordinate utility designs and initial mains laying onto site, ensuring legal agreements are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience working within a technical coordination role at a residential house builder.
  • Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Commercially aware and able to make decisions within authority.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
  • Experienced in analyzing problems and delivering solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
