About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in the design and delivery of our residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate the work of consultants, including architects, engineers, and surveyors, to ensure that all designs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure that all technical requirements are met.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant legislation, including the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.
  • Manage the process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents, in accordance with Group procedures.
  • Coordinate the delivery of surveys and reports required for the development, and manage associated requirements from design to completion.
  • Undertake value engineering assessments and ensure buildability is considered.
  • Coordinate the submission of designs and securing technical approvals for agreements, such as S104, S38, and S278, followed by timely completion of legal agreements.
  • Coordinate utility designs and initial mains laying onto site, ensuring legal agreements are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience working within a technical coordination role at a residential house builder.
  • Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to make decisions within authority.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork, with the ability to analyze problems and deliver solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
