About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Associate to join our team at Lancaster Medical Practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our Practice Nurses, Doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage clinical risk, reporting any concerns to GPs and taking appropriate action.
  • Monitor and support patients with long-term conditions, using a holistic patient-centered approach.
  • Perform and record clinical observations, including vital signs and other relevant data.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following NMC standards and protocols.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs to promote health and well-being.
  • Deliver opportunistic health promotion, using opportunities such as new patient medicals and NHS Health Checks.
