The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Demand Planning Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Head of Demand Planning. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in effectively translating commercial information into a high-accuracy demand forecast.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and model forecasts to meet current and future build rate readiness
- Participate in the IBP rhythm and routine, leading workstreams that shine a light on forecast gaps
- Prepare unconstrained forecasts for review by Sales, Marketing, and customers, providing input and modifications
- Reach a common plan with marketing, sales, financial, and supply chain views, agreeing on market assumptions and inputting on product lifecycle changes
- Clean and prepare sales history to generate a statistical forecast, using algorithms and data analysis
- Translate sales forecast into mid to long-term planning data, feeding into ERP and supply planning processes
- Manage the demand planning part of the monthly IBP cycle, organizing meetings and ensuring inputs and outputs are prepared and shared
- Manage periodic process of re-classification of product service classes (ABC-XYZ) and Make-to-order and Make-to-stock decisions
- Previous experience in a relevant functional discipline, ideally with supply chain management qualification (i.e. CPIM or CSCP)
- Well-organized, systematic, and rigorous approach to planning work and priorities, with excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven, with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Excel & PowerPoint, ideally VBA and Power BI), and a strong understanding of ERP (Dynamics AX / SAP), MRP software, and Power BI
