Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Physiotherapy Support Facilitator at University Hospital Crosshouse.

Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking compassionate Physiotherapy Support Facilitators who are eager to join our dedicated team to positively impact the lives of individuals affected by Cardiac and other Long-Term Conditions. A strong belief in the advantages of a Healthy Lifestyle, coupled with an understanding of health disparities and the obstacles individuals may encounter in achieving this, would be ideal. You will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing housekeeping tasks, managing PECOS ordering and inventory control, ensuring cleanliness in accordance with HEI standards, handling administrative duties, and contributing to data collection and management.
  • Assisting service users and the team in delivering enhanced digital solutions.
  • Facilitating components of exercise classes.
  • Connecting service users with local community opportunities.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained and contributing to audits.

Required Knowledge, Training, and Experience:

Applicants should have experience in assisting individuals to achieve their objectives and a strong passion for supporting self-management to help individuals live well with their long-term conditions. A clear understanding of the role of a physiotherapy technical instructor is essential. Experience in leading groups is preferred.

Key attributes for this position include excellent communication and motivational skills, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and a crucial role in integrating various elements. Candidates should be calm, kind, and highly organized. Active participation in in-service training and service development is expected. This role may be physically demanding, and we seek individuals who derive satisfaction from being physically active.

Working Hours: 22.3 hours per week.

Driving License/Car Ownership: A valid driving license and car ownership are essential for this role.
