Job Description

George Blake is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and drive our innovative projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering manufacturing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project coordination and effective communication.
  • Apply project management methodologies and best practices, utilizing frameworks such as APM, PMQ, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications, to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any challenges or obstacles that may arise.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and generate regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and optimizing processes to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering manufacturing projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
