Chief Information Security Officer

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to join our Digital and Information Technologies Leadership team as the Head of Information Security and Resilience. This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing our enterprise information security program, ensuring the resilience of our information services and assets, and working closely with colleagues across the business to determine acceptable levels of risk.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement our enterprise information security program, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the resilience of our information services and assets, identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine acceptable levels of risk, ensuring a balanced approach to security and business needs.
- Implement practices that meet agreed policies and standards for information and cyber security, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Lead and motivate the information security team to achieve tactical and strategic goals, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence.
- Manage multiple projects under strict timelines, working well in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies.
- Project management skills, including financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.
- A proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, with experience in risk management and information security.
