Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join Hays Careers as a Security Escort, responsible for ensuring the safe and secure movement of contractors and visitors within a high-security site in Retford.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Escort maintenance contractors onto site, checking vehicles and searching all trades people
  • Check in and out tools and ensure all visitors adhere to health and safety policies
  • Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of contractors, escorting them around the establishment

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday, 40 hours over 4 days, with a rest day on a rota basis

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow strict procedures
  • Initiative to notify senior staff of any problems
  • Enhanced security clearance, including photo ID
  • Prior experience of security, using radios and handling multiple keys for one site (desirable)
