The Role

We are seeking an entry-level Farm Trader to join our expanding team in Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom. This role offers a great opportunity to learn from our experienced professionals and develop a career in the agricultural industry.

  • Purchasing grain, pulses, and oilseeds from farms and selling seed fertilizers and other crop products.
  • Identifying prospective customers, promoting the benefits of trading with COFCO UK, and opening new accounts.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers through technical guidance and product support.
  • Ensuring accounts are paid within agreed terms and customer credit is controlled.
  • Undertaking on-farm grain sampling.
  • Maintaining an effective working knowledge of all crops/commodities traded and seed/fertilizer and other crop products sold.
