Adult Crisis Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Worker to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing victims of sexual assault with the support and care they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for service users, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to share their experiences.
- Support service users and their families throughout their visit to the centre, including preparing them for forensic examinations and assisting with the collection of evidence.
- Ensure a high standard of DNA contamination is maintained between forensic cases, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other agencies to manage service user pathways, ensuring seamless care and support.
- Act as an advocate for service users, empowering them to take control of their care and make informed decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
- Experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- IT skills and basic administration, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- A kind and caring nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
