About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Needs Teacher to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to neurodiverse young adults aged 16-25.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning, particularly with a focus on individualized support.
  • Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes, to ensure learners achieve their learning goals.
  • Provide inspirational learning opportunities to learners, whether in the classroom or out in the community, to promote independence and employability.
  • Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to direct them in effectively supporting learners.
  • Be adaptable in your teaching style to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those who require support to become more independent or secure employment.
