    • Delegate tasks to junior care staff and ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Health and Safety:
    • Ensure that all care practices adhere to health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
    • Assist in risk assessments and implement care plans to minimize risks to residents and staff.
    • Respond to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner, following established protocols.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay updated on best practices in elderly care, dementia care, and other relevant areas.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Support the professional development of junior care staff by providing guidance and mentoring.
    Qualifications:
    • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
    • Previous experience in a care setting, with a minimum of [X] years of experience as a Care Assistant.
