Principal Structural Engineer - Detailed Design
Permanent position
Hybrid Working Model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

The Energy Division at ARM is actively seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer with a focus on detailed design to support our client, a prominent Global Leader in Engineering and Construction within the Offshore Energy Sector.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct detailed design calculations adhering to the latest Industry Codes and Standards, including statutory regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, and Norsok).
Review, comment on, and approve Structural drawings for steel frameworks based on Engineering Design principles.
Prepare comprehensive Design Reports and maintain documentation in line with Department Operating Procedures.

Ensure all tasks are executed in compliance with the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental policies, following specific procedures.

Qualifications Required:

B.Eng, M.Eng, or M.Sc in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Relevant experience in the offshore energy sector with a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality Structural Engineering solutions.
Experience in detailed design.
Proficient in applying engineering principles to tackle complex challenges and collaborate effectively within a small team.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Software Proficiency:

MS Excel and hand calculations.
