In light of recent contract acquisitions and ongoing expansion, we are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Fire Safety Compliance Specialist to join our Fire Dampers Division.


Your role will involve visiting various sites throughout the Southern UK, where you will conduct thorough and meticulous inspections of installations, including Fire Dampers and Smoke Vents.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Technical Quality Assurance audits (both visual and intrusive) of installations (Fire Dampers and Smoke Vents)
- Measuring on-site to verify that the work and materials adhere to specific specifications and company quality standards
- Providing clear and timely feedback to Contracts Managers/Supervisors
- Communicating with site Supervisors/Subcontractors and clients to keep them informed about the status of your audits
- Interpreting technical drawings and written instructions during inspections
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements to ensure the company remains compliant
- Accurately managing all relevant records and databases related to processed work
- Assisting with accreditation audits such as LPCB and Firas
- Generating and issuing reports and KPI data to the Technical department
- Contributing to the continuous enhancement of the Quality Assurance process
- Attending relevant office meetings and training sessions as required.


Candidate Profile:
You will possess experience in the building and construction sector, with a strong understanding and enthusiasm for health and safety legislation compliance. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings are essential. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must, along with being a competent and confident professional. HND / Degree Qualification is desirable.
