Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture effective partnerships with primary and secondary healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized recovery plans for clients.
  • Ensure that the living conditions for residents, including food services, maintenance, and hygiene, meet high-quality standards.
  • Conduct initial screenings, triage assessments, and comprehensive evaluations along with risk management strategies for clients.
  • Design and deliver care for individuals participating in detoxification programs.
  • Thoroughly evaluate clients and develop, review, and oversee recovery plans using a holistic approach.
  • Provide case management and direct clinical support to a specified number of clients as determined by the Centre Manager and Lead Nurse, which includes assessment, planning, and specialized care delivery.
  • Address clinical and medical emergencies, managing crises as the first line of response.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish treatment and care plans, ensuring regular reviews.

Qualifications:

  • A valid nursing qualification recognized in the UK - RMN, RGN, CPN, or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse in Mental Health or General Nursing (NMC Registration and active PIN required).
  • Experience in a Drug and Alcohol recovery setting as a Nurse or Addiction Recovery Nurse is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge and experience in Drug and Alcohol treatment and recovery, including the development of treatment plans.
