The Opportunity
In light of our ongoing growth and achievements, we are seeking a seasoned Commercial Insurance Consultant to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships and expanding our commercial business in designated regions.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of existing clients while actively developing a robust pipeline of new business across various lines of Commercial Insurance, ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Generating revenue for the organization while delivering high-quality service tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting client visits and establishing initial contact.
  • Identifying client needs and presenting tailored insurance solutions.
  • Negotiating and presenting to insurers to secure optimal coverage for clients.
  • Prospecting for new leads and presenting recommendations to clients.
  • Closing sales and ensuring coverage is effectively placed.
  • Encouraging cross-selling opportunities and securing referrals.
  • Monitoring personal sales performance against targets and managing the client portfolio efficiently.
  • Ensuring all business activities adhere to FCA regulations and company policies.
  • Addressing client complaints in line with regulatory standards and company best practices.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and promoting exceptional care standards.
  • Building and sustaining professional relationships with clients while providing expert advice.
  • Collaborating with Account Handlers as necessary.
  • Ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all client and insurer interactions.
What We Are Looking For
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Previous experience as an Account Executive within a brokerage, focusing on Commercial Insurance.
  • Proven new business development skills and a strong reputation among clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Commercial Insurance products.
  • Experience adhering to high standards of FCA compliance.
  • Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with insurance IT systems.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the capability to foster solid relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Cert CII qualifications are advantageous.
