Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced governance professional to join our underwriting management team. As Group Head of Underwriting Governance, you will play a critical role in enhancing our underwriting management function and ensuring the effective execution of our governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement group underwriting standards and governance processes
  • Oversee regional execution of underwriting and governance activities
  • Ensure robust processes are in place and being executed effectively
  • Process regular control reports and performance metrics
  • Liaise with regional CUO's and underwriting committees to obtain information
  • Record keeping and documentation to a high standard
  • Liaise with internal audit on control environment
  • Keep pace with ERICCA, our enterprise risk framework
  • Ensure attestation to internal controls
Requirements
  • Proven experience in underwriting governance, including senior positions
  • In-depth knowledge of underwriting practices and insurance sector
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Ability to work with senior people and lead cross-functional teams
