Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Process Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve best value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on procurement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 17:00, Friday, 07:30 - 11:30.
