Production and Logistics Manager

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Production Control and Logistics department at TT Electronics Fairford, driving continuous growth and improvement. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will own the control of production, setting the Manufacturing Production Schedule, coordinating build sequences, and ensuring timely delivery of kitted materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Production Control and Logistics team, setting clear objectives and contributing to site engagement and improvement activities.
- Create and update the Manufacturing Production Schedule, ensuring the shop floor is well-planned and executing as per customer requirements.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between customer-facing, supplier-facing, and internal teams.
- Ensure the shop floor is serviced with raw materials, achieving 100% MPS achievement.
- Support and motivate the kitting team, ensuring they are well-directed and motivated.
- Own inventory management for the stores area, maintaining a healthy level of inventory through regular cycle counting.
- Deliver functional improvement activities across the PC&L department, focusing on team governance, visual management, KPI management, and physical environment improvement.
- Comply with company health and safety policies and standard operating procedures, suggesting improvements as needed.
Requirements:
We are seeking a professional and confident communicator with a successful track record in a similar position. You should be self-motivated, able to work proactively in a manufacturing environment, and have experience with ERP and MRP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and influence at a senior level, are essential.
