Job Overview

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage Substation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of high voltage transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities to achieve high productivity and efficient work practices, ensuring compliance with national grid and SPEN policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-site surveys to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with clients and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring all team members are aware of potential risks.
  • Control and manage documents, including RAMS, ITP, STP, and site work programs, in accordance with UK standards and client specifications.
  • Set goals and objectives for the site team, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical construction and transformer installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and standards.
