About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Midas. As a Business Development Manager - Construction, you will be responsible for introducing a procurement framework solution to public sector bodies in the East and West Midlands and some of South Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching council plans and identifying key decision makers in procurement teams, estates directors, and project management teams.
- Working alongside the chosen contractor appointed on the project.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with public sector clients to promote the procurement solution.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
Requirements
- Proven business development experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and frameworks.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience of selling technical products or services to the public sector.
