Claims Data Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Data Specialist to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a key member of our Claims Leadership Team, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing claims data to inform business decisions and drive outcome improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather both data and non-data inputs to derive actionable insights, and perform deep dive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Portfolio Development: Develop and maintain data improvements for the portfolio, and create materials to communicate results to the Claims Leadership Team.
- Data Reporting: Design and maintain data reporting for governance controls, and prepare the Claims Leadership Team for Reserve Committees and Portfolio Management Reviews.
- Presentations and Insights: Prepare presentations for the Claims Executives, and present information to the senior leadership team with observations, areas of concern, and recommendations.
- Process Improvements: Support claims systems development, and develop and maintain resource and triage modeling.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Claims Knowledge: An understanding of claims case reserving practices is required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical and statistical skills are necessary.
- SQL Query Writing: Basic SQL query writing skills are preferred.
- Reporting Tools: Creating reports in Business Objects, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.
- Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills are preferred.
