Claims Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Data Specialist to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a key member of our Claims Leadership Team, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing claims data to inform business decisions and drive outcome improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather both data and non-data inputs to derive actionable insights and drive business decisions.
- Deep Dive Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis in areas where initial data may suggest frequency, severity, or development opportunities.
- Portfolio and Customer Data Improvements: Develop and implement data improvements to enhance portfolio and customer data.
- Reporting and Presentations: Develop materials for the Claims Leadership Team to communicate analysis results and recommendations.
- Data Governance: Design and maintain data reporting for governance controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present information to senior leadership and engage with stakeholders to influence business direction.
- Process Improvements: Analyze and improve claims systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resource and Triage Modelling: Develop and maintain resource and triage modelling to support business decisions.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Claims Knowledge: Understanding of claims case reserving practices is required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical and statistical skills are necessary.
- Preferred Skills: Basic SQL query writing, creating reports in Business Objects or Tableau, and excellent Excel skills are preferred.
