Service Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Medstrom's Norwich service centre. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and timely delivery and maintenance of our medical equipment to customers across Norfolk.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up medical equipment for patients, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Repair and maintain medical equipment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards
  • Provide support and training to customers in various clinical environments
  • Collect and return used medical equipment to the service centre
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, delivery, and collection within our computerised system
  • Manage product stock and spare parts inventory
  • Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support the team and customers

Requirements:

  • Full, valid UK driving licence required
  • Desirable: mechanical or electrical background, experience working in a healthcare setting, knowledge of Medstrom and/or other medical device manufacturers' products
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules, basic PC skills, and DBS-checked
