Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Semco Maritime. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving our global energy ambitions forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate procurement package team activities and deliverables for assigned procurement packages, ensuring alignment with project goals, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Establish and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets, driving commercial excellence and technical insight.
  • Pre-qualify suppliers, prepare inquiries, evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and documentation.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with engineering and integration teams, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of contracts, technical, and commercial scope of work for assigned procurement packages.
  • Provide regular project reporting to the Procurement Manager, highlighting progress, status, schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity.
