Job Title: Trade Compliance Manager
Job Summary:
NP Aerospace is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to ensure full compliance with all relevant import and export regulations impacting our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice to support business planning and development.
- Prepare and process applications, expediting approvals and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure business adherence to regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures relating to import/export compliance and ITAR.
- Provide training to key personnel on import and export controls, including ITAR.
- Identify and advise on changes to legislation or government policy that may impact our business.
- Support and guide the Business Development, R&D, and Commercial teams on trade compliance matters.
- Prepare accurate and compliant import/export paperwork, customs documents, and maintain complete records for audit and future reference purposes.
- Liaise with nominated freight forwarders to organize all movements required by the business.
- Liaise with internal and external customers/agencies to ensure trade compliance and meet business objectives.
- Determine the classification of goods, software, and technology to be exported.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in export compliance roles.
- Awareness and understanding of business agreements/contracts.
- All-round commercial awareness and numeracy.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of core Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to analyze complex business situations and advise on the impact of export controls.
